A Special Day…
DISCLAIMER: No people were posed in the making of this website!
Your day is unique and very special to you and your guests.
Capturing all of the special moments of your day so that you can look back upon the day with fondness is essential to you.
More and more we operate on the basis of mainly shooting images that are not posed but more unobtrusive and unique.
In simple terms, we don’t ask you or any of your guests to say cheese…as we firmly leave the cheese on the board at your wedding breakfast!
Timeless reportage photography, with an emphasis on observation rather than participation, has become more popular for our clients.
It is your day, not ours. Asking you to run through a cornfield is not on the agenda.
what we offer…
Rather than offering off the shelf packages we prefer to design our services around you, your day and the features of your day.
However, as a bare minimum the basis for our initial discussions is to offer the following:
got you covered…
As well as carrying the appropriate insurance policies, we also carry extra camera bodies, lenses, camera cards on the day of your wedding.
As much as is humanly possible, we ensure that the moments of your day are not lost. There are many disaster stories out there, where couples have used a friend or relative with a “good camera” and it has not gone well.
Make sure, whoever you appoint as your photographer, that they carry the requisite equipment on the day.
capturing the atmosphere…
Being in the right place at the right time is essential. We endeavour to capture every special aspect of your day from the preparation, to the ceremony, through to the first dance.
You may have some questions for us, here are a few that we have been asked in the past.
Q: The files of the images form our day…can we make big prints from them?
A: You can order canvas and framed prints from us easily to enhance your wall or mantelpiece.
Q: Will you take any traditional formal images?
A: Yes, we realise that there is still a requirement for more traditional group shots, but, our style is predominantly reportage so you won’t find many examples on our site as we all know what a group photo looks like!
Q: Do you produce photograph albums?
A: Yes, we provide bespoke deluxe albums through to smaller coffee table books.
Q: Can we reserve a date?
A: Yes, a £300 deposit makes a concrete booking.
Q: How much do you charge for a wedding?
A: Every wedding is different, but, a full day generally lasts between 12 – 14 hours, with two photographers and some other goodies.
Q: Do we need to pay for your services upfront.
A: We offer easy payment plans to spread the payments over a period of time to make our services affordable to you.
Our families are important to us and our children grow up all to quickly.
Capturing them in pictures as they grow, from babies to children and even through the grumpy teenage years, is something that we can treasure.
Tim, our highly experienced photographer, takes charge of many of our family shoots.
Along with family and baby shoots and being one of our wedding photographers, his work also includes the photographing of musicians, creating artistic portrait work, much of which is influenced by the golden era of the 1940’s Hollywood.
Sessions last for at least two hours, either in our studio or out on location.
Contact us to book your shoot.
We also offer other services to you, our client, to meet your commercial and personal media needs.
